Hey there! I'm Matt Dixon.
I am a seasoned data professional with a passion for healthcare technology. My professional journey has taken me from the ed-tech space at a small tech firm all the way to the big-tech world of Amazon. Along the way I have worked at three health systems in New York. I am currently at Northwell Health working as a Cloud Architect, where I help influence and ultimately execute on the organization's hybrid multi-cloud technology strategy. I have deep experience and hold certifications across all three major public clouds.
Beyond the world of tech, I find happiness as both a father and husband. My family helps to bring balance to my life; Something that I personally believe is paramount to leading a meaningful and fulfilling life.
In my free time I enjoy reading, fitness and anything pushing me to get outdoors. I read various types of books from fictional thrillers to self-help to autobiographies and everything in between. Recently I have gotten back into writing for a multitude of reasons (that I actually talk about here in more detail). I took this hobby one step further and started writing online. I am a big fan of community, actively participating in a few and running my own! Check out the links below to learn more!
